Be Involved in the 2016 General Election

The issue

The upcoming general election is crucial to determining the kind of state and country we will live in for at least the next 2 years. Our personal involvement with political campaigns can make a big difference in national, state, and local elections.

What we are asking

1. volunteer time for a candidate or campaign-related activity


2. make a contribution to a candidate of your choice

  • Between October 11-November 4, you can vote at the Dona Ana Government Building (845 N. Motel) during regular business hours
  • Early Voting locations open on Saturday, October 22. The two most convenient locations for Las Cruces residents are:
    • Sonoma Elementary School & Branigan Library
    • The hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11am-7pm
  • On Election Day, November 8, you can vote at any of the 40 Voting Convenience Centers in Dona Ana County. Find the list at the Dona Ana County website: https://donaanacounty.org/elections/vcc
