The issue

The 2013 election will determine the kind of city Las Cruces will be for at least the next 4 years. Your personal involvement with the campaigns makes the difference in the elections.


How and When to Vote

The 2013 municipal election is Tuesday, November 5. Seats up for election are city council districts 3, 5 and 6 and municipal judge II. For the convenience of registered voters in Las Cruces, the city council has authorized the establishment of Voting Convenience Centers so voters can cast ballots at the nearest or most convenient center regardless of where their previous polling places were located. Absentee voting on paper ballots begins on October 9, 2013, and absentee voting on machines using M-100 vote tabulators begins on October 16, 2013. All absentee voting ends on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the city clerk’s office inside City Hall, 700 N. Main St.

  10. Munson Senior Center – 975 S. Mesquite St.
  11. Rehab Hospital of So. NM – 4441 E. Lohman Ave.
  12. Telshor/Missouri Fire Station – 2802 E. Missouri Ave.

Motel Blvd. Last day to register for the 2013 municipal election is Tuesday, October 8 at 5 p.m. The number is (575) 647-7428.
